Just some musings on how much our little girl is growing and becoming such a fabulous person. Yes, this is a biased opinion, but that's a mommy's prerogative.

Roma was given a play keyboard from Aunti LoLo, A, N and S. Roma was not that interested in it back in the spring but she is showing much more interest now. Just the other day, Roma asked me to turn it on. She hasn't mastered that button yet. I was doing laundry and Roma decided to bring her keyboard in the laundry room/bathroom. After a while, I had to stop and just watch. She was pressing one key at a time (mostly the white keys) and listening to each tone that was played. I could almost see her composing her own songs. Of course if I moved to go get the camera, she would've stopped in her tracks.

Speaking of her own songs. RM, her daycare provider, and I cannot figure out where a song Roma and T have learned they are randomly singing. It goes: "Fire Truck, Fire Truck, Doo See Dallee" . Anyone heard this before?

Still on the musical subject. Roma could not find the mallet that belonged to her xylophone. She found some plastic drink stirrers that sounded just fine when clinked on her toy.

Just yesterday Roma was dancing to some music that was playing on the TV. John asked her if she wanted to take ballet lessons. Roma turned to me and asked if she could take ballerina lessons.

OK, that's it for now. I'll have a ton of photos from our China travel mates reunion this coming weekend.

Edited to add: I'm all excited to hope that Roma has a musical ear because I certainly don't.
